Terms and Conditions
Terms for training modules, courses and memberships
Last updated: September 2026
1. Scope & contracting party
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, registrations and training participation at CFC Die Kampfkunstschule, registered association, ZVR 806506505, Karawankenweg 13, 9500 Villach, Österreich, represented by Erich Ferlesch (“CFC”).
Contact: +43 676 5205470 · office@cfc-combat.com
The contract language is German. Deviating terms of the participant only apply if CFC agrees to them in writing.
2. Services
CFC provides training in close combat and self-defense as well as in Wing Chun, FMA – Filipino Martial Arts and HEMA – Historical European Martial Arts, complemented by kids' training, self-defense courses, fitness and striking-power training.
Training takes place at Karawankenweg 13, 9500 Villach. Training times are set by personal arrangement. Changes to times, content and instructors remain reserved as long as the character of the service is maintained.
3. Conclusion of contract
The presentation of offers on this website is a non-binding invitation to book. By submitting the booking or request form you make a binding offer.
The contract is concluded once CFC confirms it – by email, by phone or through the payment confirmation in the online checkout.
For minors, the consent of a legal guardian is required; the guardian becomes the contracting party.
4. First training module (trial lesson)
The first training module is subject to a fee (including any applicable charges); the fee is shown in the booking flow at the time of booking. The trial lesson is already a first modular training service: it includes the binding reservation of your place as well as a personal introduction and supervision by Headcoach Erich Ferlesch.
The fee shown in the booking flow is the price for this training session (75 minutes).
The appointment is fixed after personal arrangement. A rescheduling may be possible by arrangement if requested in good time; there is no entitlement to it.
5. Prices & payment
The prices shown at the time of booking apply. Trial lessons booked online are paid in advance via our payment provider Stripe. Further services (modules, private and small-group training) are paid in cash on site or by bank transfer in advance: CFC Die Kampfkunstschule, IBAN AT38 2070 6046 0095 2982.
Membership fees are payable in advance for the respective period. In case of late payment, CFC may suspend participation until payment is received.
6. Right of withdrawal for online bookings
As a consumer you generally have the right to withdraw from contracts concluded online within 14 days without giving reasons (§ 11 FAGG, Austrian Distance Selling Act).
A clear statement to office@cfc-combat.com or +43 676 5205470 is sufficient for withdrawal.
For services relating to leisure activities that are to be provided on a specific date, the right of withdrawal under § 11 FAGG does not apply pursuant to § 18 (1) no. 10 FAGG (Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act). The binding booking confirmation sets a specific training date. The agreed training service is, in principle, only provided when the training session actually takes place. Statutory withdrawal and consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Membership, term & termination
Memberships run for the agreed period and are only extended if expressly agreed.
Termination is possible in text form (email is sufficient) as of the agreed date. The right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected for both parties.
In the event of prolonged inability to train due to illness or injury, the membership can be paused upon proof.
The association's statutes apply additionally to the membership; in case of contradictions, the statutes prevail.
8. Participation requirements & health
Participation is at your own responsibility. You confirm that there are no health reasons preventing your training; if in doubt, please clarify this with a doctor in advance.
Health restrictions, pre-existing conditions or injuries must be disclosed before training begins.
Kids' training deliberately takes place without spectators. Parents are welcome to book their own training module instead to get an impression.
9. Conduct & house rules
Instructions given by the trainers must be followed. Respectful behaviour, punctuality and clean training attire are prerequisites for participation.
Techniques learned may only be used within training and within the legally permitted scope of self-defense. In case of violations, in particular readiness to use violence or endangering others, CFC may end participation with immediate effect.
10. Liability
CFC is liable for damages only in cases of intent and gross negligence; liability for slight negligence is excluded, except for personal injury.
No liability is accepted for valuables brought along. Personal accident and liability insurance is recommended.
11. Photo & video recordings
Recordings made during training are only published with your consent. Consent given can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
Your own recordings of other participants are only permitted with their consent.
12. Data protection
Your data is processed exclusively to perform the contract. Details can be found in our privacy policy.
13. Applicable law & dispute resolution
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
We are happy to resolve any concern directly with you – simply write to office@cfc-combat.com.
Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
