Personal guidance
You are taught by the founder himself, not by rotating staff. He knows where you stand and what your next step is.
The founder

CFC stands for uncompromising, field-tested self-defense. Our team of certified instructors around founder Sifu Erich Ferlesch guides you step by step. You benefit from decades of martial arts expertise, real operational security experience and a genuine training community where you feel welcome.
Training at CFC Die Kampfkunstschule covers the three core areas Wing Chun, FMA – Filipino Martial Arts and HEMA – Historical European Martial Arts. Close combat and self-defense are CFC's specialisation; combat sports/striking remains a complementary offering.
Competitions, trophies and choreography are not our goal. We train awareness, distance control, de-escalation and – when necessary – the decisive physical solution. This applies to adults as well as to our kids' and women's self-defense classes in Villach.
No. CFC Die Kampfkunstschule teaches Wing Chun, FMA – Filipino Martial Arts and HEMA – Historical European Martial Arts. CFC has no organisational affiliation with martial arts umbrella organisations; as a sports association, CFC is a member of Sportunion Kärnten. This does not rule out future cooperation, but currently there is none.
Short & clear
With us you don't train with a single individual, you train inside a team. Training direction lies with Sifu Erich Ferlesch, supported by experienced instructors and long-standing students who welcome you as a new member of our community. When you sign up, you benefit from the full knowledge and backing of our CFC team – from the very first handshake.
CFC is not a catalogue of courses. It is one coherent training path, taught personally and built to develop over years. We deliberately stay small – so that quality, correction and progress stay visible.
You are taught by the founder himself, not by rotating staff. He knows where you stand and what your next step is.
Group sizes stay manageable so there is time for individual correction – not just a demonstration at the front.
Mistakes are addressed while they happen. That is what turns a movement into a reliable skill.
Basics, technique, application, pressure – each stage builds on the previous one, so you always know why you are training something.
We plan in years, not in course blocks. Martial arts is a process, and the training reflects that.
Martial arts since 1990, teaching since 1997, plus decades of practical work in operational security – experience that shapes every session.
