History: martial arts in Villach since the 1990s
Sifu Erich Ferlesch has trained martial arts since 1990, Wing Chun since 1995, and has been teaching since 1997. In 2002 that became his own school in Villach. Training at CFC Die Kampfkunstschule covers the three core areas Wing Chun, FMA – Filipino Martial Arts and HEMA – Historical European Martial Arts. Close combat and self-defense are CFC's specialisation; combat sports is a complementary offering. Teaching has run continuously in Villach for more than two decades, across every generation of trainees, from school children to adults.
The location: Karawankenweg 13, 9500 Villach
The Kwoon sits at Karawankenweg 13 in the south of Villach, with parking on site and quick access to the B83 and A2. It is a few minutes' drive from the town centre, about fifteen from Landskron or Warmbad Villach, around 20 from Velden, and roughly 40 from Klagenfurt. Training takes place on mats, with heavy bags, mitts, training weapons and protective gear.
The instructor: Sifu Erich Ferlesch
Classes are under the training direction of Sifu Erich Ferlesch – martial arts experience since 1990 and 25 years of operational security practice in close protection, property and event security. That experience decides what stays in the curriculum: whatever does not work under pressure is not taught. You train with the head of the school, not with rotating assistants.

Combat sport or martial art – what fits you in Villach?
People searching for combat sports in Villach usually mean one of two things: athletic striking training or a complete martial arts education. At CFC you get both under one roof. You can start purely athletically and later move into Wing Chun, weapon training or self-defense without changing schools.
